Yep, it’s true.
If you are crushing it… keep marketing!
If things get financially tight… keep marketing!
If it’s the first Monday in January… keep marketing!
If it’s holiday season… keep marketing!
To keep things simple for this lesson, I will be lumping advertising, marketing, PR and referral systems all under the umbrella of “marketing”.
Technically, they are all different, but work seamlessly together.
There are literally thousands of things you can do to promote your services and let people know about your fitness business. However, I prefer to keep things simple, and inexpensive (and free) when possible. Here are 7 simple, fast and inexpensive ways to market your fitness business:
1. Get listed on Google Places (google local search). http://www.google.com/
2. Get listed with all other local directories as well.

3. Create your company listing, links, articles, classified and events at no cost at http://www.
4. Use the transformation contest promo tools in Fitness Business Ninja to let everyone on Facebook know about your business. http://www.
5. The Client Grabber is designed for personal trainers and boot camps to leverage over 20 million potential clients for less than $1 per day. http://www.theclientgrabber.
6. The Client Retention Machine shows you how to get more clients while you keep more of your existing clients. Great video training and resources.

7. Press releases are vital. A press release will give you social proof, credibility, google indexing, and good links back to your website. If you are not familiar with how to write a press release, you can hire a writer from a resource such as http://www.elance.com. I recommend http://www.prweb.com and http://www.pr.com as the two best news syndicates to get your press release into circulation. There are extensive training videos on this topic within the http://www.fitnessfortunes.com member area.
So, there you have it…

There is a distinct difference between information and knowledge. Information is reading the above text. It only becomes knowledge when you follow through, apply, learn and benefit from taking action.
