Unless you have been living under a rock, you’ve heard of Jillian Michaels.
You are going to LOVE THIS INTERVIEW. Jillian Michaels and JSE cut to the chase and discuss what makes someone successful with a fitness routine, weight loss, and in life. Nothing is off limits.
About Jillian:
Jillian Michaels is one of the leading health and wellness experts in the country. Perhaps considered one of the most inspiring people on television through her role as trainer, wellness expert and life coach on her hit TV shows and regular TV appearances, Michaels has created a brand name for herself. Every week she motivates millions in every form of media from TV to publishing to the 1.6 million monthly visitors to her Web site and daily e-mail newsletter. In September 2011, Jillian expanded her television presence into daytime as a co-host on the Emmy award winning syndicated series The Doctors and act as a special contributor on Dr. Phil.
As a motivator and role model, Jillian has a unique connection with her audience that stems from her own personal journey toward wellness. Before she was a huge TV success, Jillian struggled with her own weight. She was determined to reach her goals — and through dedication and hard work, she did.
Jillian has been a personal trainer for 19 years. In addition, she owned and operated a sports medicine facility, where she worked as a physical therapy aid under the physiatrists, physical therapists, and chiropractors. Jillian’s passion for fitness training originates from 17 years of martial arts practice in Muay Thai and Akarui-Do, in which she holds a black belt. Since 1993, Jillian has held personal training certificates from the leading certification programs in the country: the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) and other renowned fitness associations. She is also certified as a kettlebell instructor.

I enjoyed your entire interview. I liked what you had to say about organic foods. I first heard Jillian several years ago and every other word Jullian was S— this and F— this…Its nice to hear that she cleaned up her speech, bless you on that 🙂 I’m also glad that she got off the The biggest Loser because I did not agree with the unrealistic exercises and false teachings that the show targets. People whom work long hours may have lots of hope and are inspired by the show but the expectations the show demonstrates is not the real world results. But! The show inspires people to get off their butts and get moving. Just too much drama for me. John and Jullian you inspire me and my ever changing business model these past years. I just opened up my new fitness and wellness studio and our focus is on the 5 pillars of health and wellness; Medical, nutritional, physical, emotional and spiritual. As well we are introducing weekend Christian and jazz music night with prayer as we truly feel that music is an inside intervention into all of our wellness. We feel that total long term wellness cannot be achieved without these interventions. Every aspect of my past advertising is changing and our lord has lead my wife and I into an new wellness fitness ministry which is an awesome vision. Many congrats to you guys for all the life changes that you have both given thousands and please continue spreading the honest sincere TRUTH in your face news about health, fitness and wellness! God bless you both! Sincerely Michael and Sheri.

Thanks for writing. I can tell you (because I’ve done 4 reality shows myself)…. What you see on TV is NOT what really happens. You are seeing a condensed, edited, highlighted, exaggerated and embellished version of reality. It’s all for ratings. That’s the way reality TV works.

John – radio is your best medium. You would do well with your own nationally syndicated radio talk show and likely give the competition out there a run for the money.
