(FROM A RECENT PRESS RELEASE) Kevin Harrington, the pioneer of the infomercial industry and an investor on “Shark Tank,” wrote the introduction to “Collaboration Economy.” Written by entrepreneur and personal development guru John Spencer Ellis and mass communication expert Topher Morrison, the new book is designed to help small business owners increase market share through partnerships.
Showing that business today isn’t necessarily a “shark eat shark” world, infomercial pioneer, investor and entrepreneur Kevin Harrington wrote the forward to “Collaboration Economy: Eliminate the Competition by Creating Partnership Opportunities.” The new book, written by fitness and personal development guru John Spencer Ellis and mass communication expert Topher Morrison, will be available May 6 at http://www.collaborationeconomy.com/.
In 1984, Harrington produced one of the industry’s first 30-minute infomercials and has since been involved with more than 500 product launches, resulting in more than $4 billion in worldwide sales. He also helped to establish the Entrepreneur’s Organizations (EO) and the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) and is an investor on ABC’s “Shark Tank” series. In “Collaboration Economy,” Ellis and Morrison collaborated with a variety of experts and also offer a series of expert interviews focused on future success as a small business owner.
“With his extensive success in media, sales and business, we were incredibly excited to have Kevin write the forward to ‘Collaboration Economy,’” Morrison said. “His insight, instincts and inspiration make him the perfect person to introduce this idea of a new way of doing business by collaboration.”
“Collaboration Economy” focuses on how to make a business more efficient, frictionless transactions, new sales models, the future economy, becoming a celebrity in the industry and more. Acknowledging that more people are becoming entrepreneurs than at any other time in the world, creating more competition than ever, the book explains the importance of new ways of doing business in the age of collaboration. For a limited time, a pre-press copy of the book is available for FREE at http://www.collaborationeconomy.com/ for only the cost of shipping. The book will be available for $14.95 after May 6.
“We enjoyed collaborating with each other and a series of smart and successful experts in creating this book, and we are particularly thrilled to have Kevin kick it off with his unique take on business success today and tomorrow,” Ellis added. “Collaboration is the new competition and we look forward to showing more people how to collaborate their way to success.”
