YOU NEED THIS BOOK!

Imagine… This one book will answer all of your questions and give you solutions to all of your challenges with physical, emotional and spiritual abundance!

Peak Vitality Book CoverWe often strive for our peak of accomplishment: peak health, peak wealth, peak performance. The idea for this anthology came from a further question that is both simple but provocative: “What if we could exceed the upper limits of our performance?” What would happen if, rather than focusing on being physically well, we imagined ourselves physically vibrant? What would happen if rather than seeking 100% of the good that might come to us, we pushed past our boundaries, and pictured what 112% might look like? What would happen if we took our upper limits of vision as a baseline, rather than a ceiling? Could we be happier, more abundant, and healthier than our wildest dreams?

Key Contributors Share Their Secrets

How do you go beyond your current best and achieve maximum potential in all areas of your life?

Experts offer their best ideas on how to raise the threshold of abundance in our Material, Spiritual and Emotional lives.

What if we could access more of our inner vitality and achieve the upper limits of our current best? What would we have to do?

Jeanne House went looking for the answer to these questions. She asked 57 of the world’s top experts and leaders in a wide variety of fields to share their most prized secrets, discoveries, and best most helpful advice regarding how to go beyond our current threshold.

Eckhart Tolle, author of the new Oprah Winfrey recommended best seller A New Earth, is one of the people who gave her his answer. He described Peak Vitality as:

“If you are not spending all of your waking life in discontent, worry, anxiety, depression, despair, or consumed by other negative states; if you are able to enjoy simple things like listening to the sound of the rain or the wind; if you can see the beauty of the clouds moving across the sky or be alone at times without feeling lonely…it means that a space has opened up, no matter how briefly…when this happens, there is a sense of well-being of alive peace, even though it might be subtle.”

This and other contributions may all be found in the pages of the new book Peak Vitality. You’ll find guidance on how the world’s best physicians, executive coaches, health gurus, sports coaches, actors and actresses, scientists, and therapists teach people how to get from where they are now to the ultimate peak of their physical, mental, and spiritual performance capabilities. Here is just a sampling of the some of the incredible golden nuggets of wisdom and insights offered in the pages of this 509 page anthology:

Mehmet Oz, Professor of Cardiac Surgery at Columbia University:

“One of the great many lessons we learned from Lance Armstrong is that while you can’t control what happens to you (no matter how fit you are), there are some things you can control: your attitude, your determination and – what serves as the crux of this book – your willingness to take your own health into your own hands and know as much about your body as possible.”

Mariel Hemingway, grand-daughter of Ernest Hemingway and author of the book Healthy Living from the Inside Out:

“When it comes to your health and wellness there are indeed many things you can’t control. The trick is to ask yourself “what can I control?” The answers are fairly simple: The food I eat, The way I exercise. My response to emotional stresses. My home environment. Making even small modifications in these four areas can be extraordinarily powerful…”

Dean Ornish, MD, one of the best known medical authorities in the world:

“Love as though your very survival depended on it. I am not aware of any other factor in medicine-not diet, smoking, exercise, stress, drugs or surgery-that has a greater impact on our quality of life, incidence of illness, or possibility of premature death than love and intimacy.”

Donna Eden, author of Energy Medicine:

“Learn how to dance with the five rhythms of nature. Understand the rhythms that affect you: The Rhythm of Winter – Embryonic Possibility; The Rhythm of Spring – New Growth; The Rhythm of Summer – Fulfillment; The Rhythm of Solstice/Equinox and Indian Summer – Transition; The Rhythm of Fall – Ending.”

David Feinstein, author of Energy Psychology:

“Energy Psychology can be used to transform internalized images or beliefs that are holding you back from a more vital life, instilling core beliefs and emotional responses to support your natural capabilities for joy, love and success. Focusing on your hopes or on images of achievement, while stimulating energy points can release a flood of chemicals in your brain.” Melody Beattie, author of the best seller Codependent No More:

“Experience. … It’s both a noun and a verb. The lesson may be over, but don’t forget what you learned. You’re going to need it while you climb mountain number two.”

Topher Morrison, author of Stop Chasing Perfection:

“What do you do when you get lost on the map to success? 1. Pull over. 2. Ask for help. Not complicated. No profound. But the results from these two little steps can be awesome.”

Bruce Lipton, author of The Biology of Belief:

“Learning how to harness our minds to promote growth is the secret of life… As we become more conscious and rely less on subconscious automated programs, we become the masters of our fates, rather than the victims of our programs.”

Andrew Weil, MD, author of the best selling books Spontaneous Healing and Eat Well for Optimum Health:

“Your thought, emotions and attitudes are key determinants of how you age. … To be able to laugh at a bad experience, a loss, for instance-is the surest sign of healthy acceptance of it and adaptation to it.”

Watch a Short Video Introduction

Studies in social science and human physiology indicate that each of us has a series of set points. We have a set point for how much pleasure we allow ourselves to experience, how much money we feel we’re worth, how close we believe can get to God, and the limits of our physical endurance and athletic performance.

Yet these limits are often far below our potential. They’re arbitrary limits based in our past experience. Like a giant with mighty muscles who has been raised by pygmies with puny arms, we often buy into the limitations of the society that formed us.

Breaking the limit can be terrifying. For instance, if we’re used to abusive relationships, our body chemistry is geared to that experience. Biologically it feels “right” to us, even if our minds tell us that our situation is horribly wrong. When we try something new, for instance a healthy relationship, our biochemistry and neurology might scream, “No!” because it feels so unfamiliar. Yet we have to push past the barriers of the known in order to establish new, healthy patterns.

That’s what Peak Vitality is all about. It calls us to examine the thresholds of our thinking, feeling and experiencing—then go beyond what we believe we’re capable of.

Please join us for the magnificent voyage of discovery into what reaching new peaks of attainment might look like. As you read the insiring ideas of these authors and savor the wisdom of their breakthrough concepts, you will be inspired to identify your own highest goals—and reach them!
