Entrepreneurs just like you need to create their first product. It needs to be simple and minimally viable to begin.
For simplification, a “product” can be a book, information product, service, coaching program, a physical product, an affiliate offer, or anything you sell to an end user.
Nearly all new and struggling entrepreneurs struggle, delay, ponder and drive themselves nuts when they create their first product. They think it needs to be perfect. It doesn’t. They think it’s never done. It may not be. They think they need to add more. Often that’s untrue. They are worried some people won’t like it. Some will not. They worry about pricing options. Few options are better.
What you really need to know about creating your first product:
1. You just need to start now.
2. The longer you wait, the longer you deny people the opportunity to get the help you provide.
3. You won’t get it 100% correct your first time and it doesn’t matter.
4. You just need something simple to start.
5. You’ll need feedback from your first customers to know how to modify and expand your offer.
6. When you keep making excuses, you are not an entrepreneur.
7. You’ve made excuses long enough.
You just need to start with your first product. Plain and simple.
So, what have you been wanting to create or offer to your clients?
Do that now. Then, get feedback from your first few customers and make updates based on that feedback.
Remember, you can make as many products as you want. Over the years, I’ve developed (or co-developed) over 30 products. Offering products to customers online is the greatest way to build your lifestyle business. You can work and live anywhere and still make it a huge success.
