Buses, trams, metro, ferries, car, and bike are the abundant options to get around the city. Never buy the ticket in tram because it will cost you more. Get into the metro station and buy a five euro ticket that will be valid for 24 hours and you can go anywhere. On the city steep slopes, there are elevators which are an interesting experience for the person never traveled on that. The Santa Justa lift is a very common attraction that is actually a mean of transport.
