Bella Vista Coffee
Although this is not a co-working space, the café is filled with a wide variety of digital nomads. There are plug sockets on every table with comfy chairs. You can also use the outside balcony where you will get mesmerizing views, the coffee here is also magnificent.

The city is the perfect place to go if you are new to the digital nomad world or you are on a budget, you can easily get a two-story apartment here for just $750 per month. If you are ready to bunk up with roommates or you want to stay longer in the city, you will easily find a place in Antigua for just a couple hundred dollars per month. You can get shared houses for about $200 per month and a private place for as low as $305.
For foods, you can spend as little or as much as you want, you can visit the municipal market where you can buy almost everything you will need for cooking so as to save some money. If you do not want to cook, you can also head to the varieties of restaurants available which starts from super cheap Guatemalan street food to fancy French restaurants.
Mobile & WiFi
The internet speeds and reliability are quite good in the city especially if you need it for working online. You can use opt for Movistar, one of the major service providers in the country. You will find varieties of mobile shops around the city and stalls in the markets where you can buy SIM Cards and top-ups. You will get Movistar SIM for as low as $6, you can then make subscription on the SIM. You don’t need it to make calls as you can use the home phone for that.
It is also important to note that you will use your passport when you want to buy a new SIM and recharging. Most of the customer service reps at the stores do not speak English which means you will do some basic Spanish and pointing for them to understand. You can then make a request for the list of packages so as to set up your SIM and recharge. Once this is done, you should try and test the data on your mobile phone before you leave the store as a precaution.
