Granada is a perfect place to stay as a digital nomad as it is close to a majority of things and it can be found on the edge of a lake. It is just about 45 minutes away from another lake in a crater called Apoyo that you can visit and you can also head to a volcano known as Mombacho which has a national park that you can explore.
San Juan Del Sur
The town is not far from the capital and it is just about an hour away, it is also a party town and you can easily access the town by bus. It is a perfect place to go for a weekend night out, the major attraction here is Ometepe which is a two-volcano island in the middle of a big lake.

Nicaragua is a cheap destination to go and you can get accommodation as cheap as $70-80 per week. There are also varieties of AirBnB options that you can stay. You can easily rent an apartment from the net here and all you need is to ask from the nomad community around.

This is both a café and art studio and it has cheerful vibes with outstanding and magnificent paintings that you will love. Black coffee can cost you a buck while you can have a latte for as little as $2. There are also varieties of cuisines that you can eat for $3-6.
Casa del Café
This café is among the top spot in Nicaragua and it is close to the main square. Casa del Café is a local hotspot which means they sell good coffee. The best thing is that the café stays nice and cool in the middle of the day when the temperature goes up and you can buy a big cappuccino for as little as $3. They also sell sandwiches that you will also love.
Casa de Los Suenos
This is another option for you and they also sell good tea. The café is quite smaller than the other cafes on this list but it also has enough space to work. The hotel is designed with some trippy artwork on the walls and they have artisanal beers and delicious food choices to try out. The best thing is that the café opens till 11 pm which makes it a perfect place to go for late night work. Things are little pricier here than other places on the list.
Best time to go
You should try to avoid Nicaragua between March and May as these are the hottest months with temperatures that can go up to about 40 degrees Celsius. It is best to visit between May and November which is the rainy season as most of the things get fresh. The rain comes in a heavy shower and it will clear up very fast. The rainy season is also not the high season which means you can easily get apartments as the country is devoid of tourists.
