Small Co-working Platforms
Small co-working platforms such as offices are tiny and close co-working spaces that are perfectly equipped and have other digital nomads who are open to meeting new people, working with them and make it more interactive by having events that bring people together, so this can be a great way to find, meet and make new friends as a digital nomad.
Digital Nomad Meet-ups and Conferences
This is also a great platform where there are other nomads whose purpose is to meet other nomads, (just like you )and organize events where they can meet up and bond. The amazing thing is that there are meetups for almost every area of interest, so it is easy to find one that is in line with your area of interest and join. You never know you could be meeting your travel partner in the process.
Private Membership Groups
These are small groups that are intimate, created specifically to allow digital nomads to come together and get to know each other on a more personal level. They are especially suitable for introverts out there. So if you are more comfortable with small and private groups, this is just the way to meet and make new friends.
Facebook Groups
Facebook, already known as one of the largest social platforms where people meet and make friends from all corners of the world is a great place to begin your search. As a digital nomad looking to make friends, this is preferably the easiest way to do so. To join a Facebook group, search for your city together with ‘ digital nomad’, a group will pop up if there is one, then search for expat groups in your city and then search for your area of interest, for you to blend in easily. Lastly, ask to join that group and try to be interactive by participating regularly.
Facebook Events
Making friends through Facebook groups is not enough. Finding Facebook events and engaging in them is an alternative and a great way to make new friends as a digital nomad, so make a point of trying to find an event coming up in your area and attend. Using your Network

That you can be in one corner of the world and meet your long lost childhood friend, or be waiting in line to pay for your groceries in a store and realize that the person standing in front of you is your classmate from high school or sitting quietly in a bus and notice the person seated next to you is your friend you met online and have really been looking forward to meeting him or her?… your network can be a great way of letting your friends both old and the ones you’ve met online know where you are, and who knows… one of them can be just around the corner for a meetup.

Language Programs
Language is what brings people together and makes people comfortable with each other, so learning a new language is a great way of making friends as you can blend in with them, especially if they are from abroad.
